Every donation, no matter the size, helps provide a safe haven for animals in need. As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of our community to assist with daily care, including food, medical treatment, and enrichment for the animals in our care.

Donations also support adoption services, spay/neuter efforts, and resources that help keep pets with the families who love them. When you give, you're not just supporting our shelter—you’re giving animals a second chance, helping families stay together, and creating a stronger, more compassionate community for pets and people alike.

Your support makes every rescue, recovery, and adoption story possible. Thank you for being a part of their journey.

Thank you!

Wish Lists

The Watertown Humane Society's Wish Lists contain items we use each day to keep our animals happy and our shelter clean.

We understand that many of the items we have on our wish list aren't necessarily exciting but they truly are important items we need and use!

Thank you!

Community Pet Food Pantry

Our Community Pet Food Pantry is available to anyone in need of temporary assistance feeding their pets. We believe that no family should have to choose between caring for themselves and caring for their beloved companion animals. By providing free pet food and supplies, this program helps keep pets where they belong — at home with the families who love them.

The pantry is open to the public during our regular business hours and is stocked through the generosity of our community.

Donations We Accept:

  • Dry dog and cat food (including opened bags)
  • Canned dog and cat food
  • Collars and leashes
  • Feeding dishes and bowls
  • New dog and cat toys

Items We Cannot Accept:

  • Pet clothing
  • Dog beds

Every donation makes a difference. Whether you're donating a bag of food or utilizing the pantry during a difficult time, you're helping ensure that pets remain in loving homes and out of shelters.

Thank you for supporting pets and the people who care for them.
