SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC - CONCORD RESIDENTS ONLY!
The Watertown Humane Society Spay/Neuter Clinic is an affordable, high-quality spay/neuter clinic open to the public. The goal of our Spay/Neuter Clinic is to reduce the number of homeless animals by reducing the financial burden that these surgeries can sometimes carry.
Before you visit, call, or book, please note:
- As always, our services are by appointment only.
- Our lobby is closed to walk-in traffic. To ensure the safety of our staff and clients, please do not visit the clinic without an appointment.
- Lobby space is limited during appointment check-in and check-out times. We ask that you limit the number of people in your party to only those needed for the appointment; in most cases, that will be one person per pet.
- Due to high call volume, you will need to leave a voicemail when you call. Please allow up to 3 business days for a callback on any non-emergency inquiries.
To Book an Appointment:
To schedule an appointment at our Spay/Neuter Clinic at the shelter, please fill out the appropriate consent below and we will be in touch to schedule an appointment. Please note: Our shelter is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
PLEASE NOTE: A SEPARATE CONSENT IS REQUIRED FOR EACH CAT YOU WILL BE BRINGING IN.

Meet our Team

Dr. Brooke Groskopf
Certified Veterinarian, DVM
Dr. Brooke graduated from the UW Veterinary school in 2011 and she has spent her whole career working with shelter animals. She began at the Best Friends Animal Society in Utah and has continued working with many species in medicine and surgery before moving on to focus specifically on surgery, especially spay/neuter procedures. She has spayed and neutered thousands of cats and dogs in the last 11 years. When Dr. Brooke isn’t doing surgery, she likes to spend time with horses. In her other work, she trims horse hooves and provides alternative therapy for horses, including acupuncture. Dr. Brooke lives in Cambridge with her husband, two dogs, 6 cats, 4 horses, a mule and a donkey. We are grateful to have her knowledge and skills to help assist the animals of our community.

Lisa Ramge
Certified Veterinary Technician

Amy Schultz
Veterinary Assistant/Clinic Manager
As our Clinic Manager, Amy comes to us with over 15 years of clinic experience and is an invaluable asset to our team. She is organized, hardworking, and is always willing to help a friend or animal in need. She has also been a foster for our shelter for over 8 years; she's only failed once or twice but who's counting! Amy truly is part of the glue that keeps us together. When not at the shelter, you will find her at Johnson Creek Veterinary Care and waitressing an occasional night at your local establishment. She lives on her family farm with her husband and step-son caring for their dogs, cats, goats and chickens.

Emelyn Schoeller
Veterinarian Technician Assistant
Emelyn joined our team in May of 2021 as part of our Animal Care Staff. She performs double-duties now at the shelter with the opening of our clinic. Emelyn is currently enrolled in the MATC Vet Tech program and will be graduating in the next year. In her new role, she assists Dr. Brooke and CVT Lisa during surgeries. Emelyn's can-do attitude and fast learning skills are an asset to our team.
