Absolutely! We ask that you verify with your landlord for acceptance prior to adoption.
We ask that you be 18 years or older to adopt. Your parent or guardian may adopt an animal for your family however.
Usually the process takes between 24-48 hours. In many cases, we can perform same day adoptions, but it can't be guaranteed.
As a general rule, we do not adopt any pet to be an outside pet. Some concessions may be made, and Barn Cats are an exception to this. We’ll review your application and an inspection of the outside pet living quarters may be required.
Yes! If you fill out an application and request a certain age, breed or size, we will put you on an email list when new animals come to the shelter and try to match you perfectly with your new best friend.
Please know that it's less unlikely that we are able to match you with a purebred dog. The majority of our dogs are mixed breeds.

In most circumstances, we recommend you bring your current dog with you to meet your potential new dog. With cats, we recommend you introduce cats slowly to each other over the course of days and weeks for the best success!
